 HFSM-Siren Chirp Enable Feature

There has been some confusion surrounding the enabling and disabling of chirp/chirpless

mode on 2007 models equipped with the optional smart siren.

To enable or disable the chirp mode on the smart siren:

The engine RUN/OFF switch must be left in the RUN position (ON) during this entire process.

The fobs must be present as well.

Turn the ignition key switch to Ignition and leave ON until the security lamp goes out. Once

the lamp goes out, turn the switch OFF. The system will arm itself.

Repeat the above process 2 more times. (Key ON, key OFF, key ON, key OFF), each time

waiting for the light to go off.

After this cycle has been performed a total of 3 times, the Chirp feature will change to

enabled or disabled, depending on the current status.

In the chirpless mode the siren does not chirp upon arming or disarming.

The siren will still chirp warnings on movement and will activate through all alarm cycles.
